Acute Tool Sharpening System

The Acute Tool Sharpening System can be used to shape and sharpen of a wide variety of smaller cutting tools and is designed to mount to a standard 150mm (6″) or 200mm (8″) bench grinder.
It is available as a machinable parts kit or a set of digital drawings.

The Acute Tool Sharpener has been designed as a relatively simple to make and use system for sharpening a wide variety of workshop cutting tools.

The table can be attached to any bench grinder that uses 150-200mm (6″-8″) abrasive wheels.

Once completed, the system can be used to form and sharpen lathe tools, centre drills, multi flute countersinks, end mills, flat bottom drills, rotary broaches and slotting tools etc.

You can build it completely from scratch by buying the book of 32 drawings in electronic form from the website shop, or purchase the full parts kit which comes with a hard copy of the drawings as well as all the materials, parts and fixings to complete the project.
