Cuborg

I made Cuborg (pronounced Q-Borg) back in 2002-03, he was inspired by a character in the computer game Planescape Torment.

The body was made from 1/8" brass sheet silver soldered together then squared up with a fly cutter on the mill. The riveted angle iron is attached to the body by 12BA csk screws and the face is molded from silicon rubber and can be changed for different expressions. The eyepieces rotate to suit the situation, the telescope extends, and the spectacles hinge out to cover both eyes.
He stands 300mm tall, weighs just under 2kgs, and I lost count of the amount of hours I spent building him.
